Next-Gen Transit: Smart Ticketing System Installation & Maintenance
This Installation and Maintenance project, valued at $10 million, involves the installation of 370 SIGMA ETS90 Ticket Vending Machines (TVMs) across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) in accordance with manufacturer specifications. These machines support the Automated Transit ticketing system for GO Transit, with ongoing maintenance and repair services. Operations include the repair and replacement of vital machine components, troubleshooting network, payment, and cash systems, and analytical problem-solving. The project also includes training and testing of infrastructure, along with customer service for the public.
