Elevating Western Canada’s Rail Network
Completion of track surfacing work for a large class 1 customer in Western Canada.
The Class 1 Track Surfacing project in Western Canada showcased a significant commitment to railway maintenance and rehabilitation. Six surfacing gangs completed approximately 900,000 track feet of track surfacing, addressing both broad and spot-specific restoration needs. The project involved restoring track surfaces in various locations, including out-of-face track surface restoration. Additionally, the team assisted with multiple crossing and turnout installations, ensuring that hundreds of track defects were corrected and brought to safe operating conditions. This extensive effort was crucial in maintaining the safety and efficiency of the rail network.
